So, framework 1.
We shall begin from the simplest framework. Open the picture, to which the frame, built by you will refer. Pass in a graphic pallet of channels and create a new one. You are able to do it, having clicked on an emblem of a new channel by the left-hand key of the mouse. It is necessary to create in it a rectangular Marquee.
Now you can fill the area, obtained by you, through the "Fill" tool of any gradient, or to fill in with its texture.
That's all. As you could be convinced, process of creation is easy and fast, and the result is rather interesting.
Other frameworks are created approximately by the same principle, as first, however, with adding to them some adjustments.
Framework 2.
For the beginning repeat the same operations, as at creation of the first framework, namely: load the picture, for which the framework is intended, create a new channel, allocate a rectangular area, invert Marquee, fill the obtained area by white colour, and undo Marquee.
It would be desirable to say, that all operations, executed by you, should be executed and in a quick mask mode if you are not going to use your framework for the second time.
Maximum radius ≈ 8 pixels, Channel 1 ≈ 108, Channel 2 ≈ 165, Channel 3 ≈ 90, Channel 4 ≈ 45.
After application of this filter pass in a RGB colour mode and execute operations similar to operations, described in the first example. You need to load a channel as Marquee, to fill with a texture, which you liked, or a color. That's all, and it is not more difficult than the first example and does not yield to it in its effectiveness.
Framework 3.
The beginning of creation is similar with previous mentioned above. Load the necessary file, pass in a graphic pallet of channels, and create a new one.
After application of the given filter pass in a RGB colour mode (Ctrl + ~, or click of the mouse near to an icon of the given channel), load the channel, built by you, in Marquee and fill the obtained area according to your taste.
We hope, that you have understood, that the process of creation of frameworks is simple. But despite of the simplicity, the frameworks allow to improve exterior of a photo or picture, built by you considerably. Even the simple figure at a decent design becomes absolutely another. And it is easy and rather quick to create frameworks, at work in PhotoShop and the main thing here is your imagination which can find its development and can be transformed to an excellent designing of your works.
It would be desirable to mark one more capability of creation of a framework. It is similar to previous by something, but the filters will not be used in it. So, we shall start.
Framework 4.
Open the picture, which should be placed in a framework. It is necessary to say that ) a converted external part of the picture will serve, as the framework, that is why if there above, below, or somewhere are important parts, which cannot be lost, such framework will not be appropriate. As against previous, described versions, which can be created in the separate file, and then to place the pictures in them, such variations are not possible with this framework. If these parts are not so important, but nevertheless should be visible, you can create a transparent framing with smoothly varying transition from less transparent boundaries to an absolutely transparent center, or to the contrary, actually, all these problems you should decide independently.
At a following stage we have created round Marquee area, which has been converted to a new channel. If it is easier for you to work at once with a new channel, you can create it at first and then create Marquee. Having inverted it, we have filled received area with white color, just so, as well as at creation of the previous frameworks. Do not forget to cancel Marquee before you pass to a following stage.
Return to a RGB color mode model and load the channel, built by you as Marquee. Yes, you surely have noted, that we speak all the time about color model RGB, however if you have gotten used to working with other models, you can easily continue to create your pictures in Lab or CMYK modes.
After you transfer to a mode of color model, selected by you, and have loaded a mask, the second stage of creativity starts. Further we shall describe process of creation of a framework, introduced your attention, but you should not forget, that to each separate picture the personal approach is necessary, and that, that looks well in this case, can be simply absurd in the other.
We have described the process of creation of several frameworks and two absolutely different approaches to this problem. However there are many capabilities and a lot of place for experiments. Abundance of filters for PhotoShop, different additional adjustments, and also your imagination will allow you to create many interesting frameworks and to make even better pictures, built by you. Also it is not necessary to forget that it is very important, how you will present your creation, and the framework will help to point out its advantages and correct some defects.
That fact is indisputable, that at creation of composite visual effects it is best to take advantage of capabilities offered by programs with a three-dimensional graphics. With the help of these programs it is possible to reconstruct such composite effects rather quick and very similar as a fire and ice, mist and sparkling drips of dew, explosion and drench. But these programs are not accessible to everyone, and someone doesn't need them at all. If you work with PhotoShop, you should not refuse from all mentioned above capabilities offered in the three-dimensional graphics at all. A little patience and imaginations is set up, and everything will be OK. You should not apply so grandiose efforts, which would be necessary at mastering of a three-dimensional graphics.
PhotoShop is a two dimensional graphic editor, but due to huge quantity of filters, tools, adjustments it allows to achieve practically any effect, planned by you.
